Strawberry Acai Refresher

This Strawberry Acai Refresher is a light and fruity drink made with acai powder, cold water, honey, and fresh strawberries. It comes together easily and is perfect for sipping over ice on a warm day.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons acai berry powder
  • 1 cup cold water or coconut water
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey maple syrup, or preferred sweetener (adjust to taste)
  • ½ cup strawberries sliced, fresh or frozen
  • Ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  • In a large glass, combine the acai powder and 1 cup of cold water (or coconut water). Use a small whisk or handheld frother to blend until smooth. For a finer texture, strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove any undissolved bits.
  • Stir in the honey (or other sweetener) until fully dissolved. Add the sliced strawberries directly into the acai mixture
  • Fill the glass with ice cubes. Top with a splash of sparkling water for extra fizz. Stir well before sipping and enjoy your homemade strawberry acai refresher!

Notes

  • Starbucks Copycat Tip: To mimic the Starbucks refresher more closely, you can replace half of the water with white grape juice and omit the honey. It creates a naturally fruity sweetness similar to the original drink.
  • Sweetness Adjustments: Taste the drink before serving and adjust the sweetness if needed. Add a little extra honey if you prefer a sweeter refresher.
