Preheat oven to 350℉ and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine cake mix, melted butter, and eggs until a soft dough forms.
Divide the dough evenly into four bowls. Tint each portion with a different gel food coloring: orange, purple, green, and yellow. Chill the dough for 15 minutes to make rolling easier.
Roll the dough into 1–1½ inch balls and place on prepared baking sheets. Flatten slightly with your palm.
Bake 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers remain soft.
While cookies are still warm, gently press two candy eyeballs into each cookie. Allow cookies to cool completely before serving.
