For White Chocolate Syrup:

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup milk or heavy cream, adjust for thickness
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

For Iced White Chocolate Mocha:

  • 1 cup brewed espresso or strong brewed coffee (cooled)
  • ½ cup milk your choice: almond, oat, dairy, etc.
  • 2-3 tablespoons homemade white chocolate syrup adjust to taste
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes
  • Whipped cream optional, for topping
  • Chocolate shavings or white chocolate chips** optional, for garnish

Instructions

Make the Homemade White Chocolate Syrup

  • In a saucepan over low heat, combine the white chocolate chips and heavy cream or milk. Stir continuously until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  • Remove from heat, add the vanilla extract, and mix well until well combined. Allow the syrup to cool slightly; it will thicken as it cools.

Make the Iced White Chocolate Mocha

  • Make the espresso or strong brewed coffee and let it cool.
  • In a glass filled with ice, combine the cooled espresso with 2-3 tablespoons of the homemade white chocolate syrup. Mix well.
  • Pour in your choice of milk and mix until combined. Add a generous dollop of whipped cream on top and sprinkle chocolate shavings or a few white chocolate chips.
  • Stir the iced white chocolate mocha before drinking, and enjoy the delicious combination of flavors!
