Equipment

Ingredients

  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup green onions both green and white parts, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced, optional
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice optional
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream and Greek yogurt. Add the chopped green onions, minced garlic, lemon juice, and cilantro.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix all the ingredients until well combined. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes
  • Give the dip a stir before serving, and adjust the seasoning if needed. Serve with your preferred accompaniments like chips, crackers, or vegetable sticks.

Notes

  • Allow the dip to chill in the refrigerator before serving. This helps the flavors meld together, resulting in a more cohesive and flavorful dip.
  • Ensure that the green onions are finely chopped. This distributes their flavors evenly throughout the dip and creates a smoother texture.
  • If you prefer a thicker dip, add a bit more Greek yogurt. For a thinner consistency, you can mix in a small amount of milk or buttermilk.
