Instructions
Preheat oven to 350℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate large bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla until combined.
Stir in the dry ingredients until just mixed. Fold in the diced apples and raisins.
Scoop the dough onto the baking sheet, flattening each slightly.
Bake for 11-13 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers look soft. Cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar with cinnamon and 1 teaspoon milk, adding more milk as needed for drizzling consistency.
Drizzle over cooled cookies and let set before serving.
Notes
For best results, pat the diced apples dry before adding to prevent excess moisture in the cookies.
Start with less milk in the glaze and add more gradually to control thickness.
Cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
