Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast boneless, skinless, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons fajita seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • ½ yellow bell pepper sliced
  • ½ green bell pepper sliced
  • ½ red bell pepper sliced
  • ½ red onion sliced
  • ¼-½ teaspoon salt adjust as per taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 380℉ for 3 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine the oil, fajita seasoning, and salt. Add the chicken and vegetables. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Place the seasoned chicken and vegetables in the air fryer basket, spreading them out into a single layer. Cook in the air fryer at 380℉ for 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes, turn the chicken and veggies using tongs or shake the air fryer basket. Cook for an additional 7-8 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.
  • Serve with warm tortillas, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and any other desired toppings.

Notes

  • Preheating the air fryer before adding the ingredients will help achieve a nice sear on the chicken and vegetables. Don't skip it!
  • Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket, which can lead to uneven cooking. If necessary, cook the chicken and vegetables in batches.
