  • Preheat the air fryer to 380℉ for 4-5 minutes.
  • Pat dry the chicken drumsticks using paper towels to remove any excess moisture. This will help the skin to become crispy.
  • Combine oil, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Add the chicken drumsticks to it. Mix well, making sure all the chicken pieces are well coated.
  • Place the seasoned chicken drumsticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving some space between them for even cooking.
  • Cook the drumsticks in the air fryer at 380℉ for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165℉ to ensure they are fully cooked.
  • Once cooked, remove the drumsticks from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Before seasoning, pat the drumsticks dry with paper towels. This helps the skin become crispy during cooking by removing excess moisture.
  • Arrange the drumsticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket to achieve optimal crispiness. Overcrowding can lead to uneven cooking and soggy skin, so cook in batches if necessary.
