Air Fryer Broccoli

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350℉ for 2-3 minutes.
  • Cut the broccoli into florets, making sure they are similar in size for even cooking. In a mixing bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
  • Arrange the seasoned broccoli in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches depending on e size of your air fryer.
  • Place the basket into the air fryer and cook the broccoli for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and the broccoli is tender. Halfway through cooking, shake the basket or use tongs to toss the broccoli for even browning.
  • Garnish with chili flakes or your favorite garnish, and serve.

Notes

  • To ensure even cooking, cut the broccoli into uniform florets. This helps them roast at the same rate, preventing some pieces from becoming overcooked while others remain underdone.
  • Preheat the air fryer before adding the broccoli. This will help ensure that the broccoli cooks evenly and quickly.
  • Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket, as this can lead to steaming instead of roasting. If you have a large batch, cook the broccoli in two separate batches.
  • Check the broccoli for doneness before removing it from the air fryer. The broccoli should be tender and slightly crisp.
